Mains of Taymouth Country Estate and Golf Course (formerly known as Kenmore Golf Course) has been designed to be a challenge for all level of golfers. Beautiful panoramic views give this course a wide open feel, but don’t let this fool you – each hole will test your shot making ability!

It is host to Kenmore Golf Club and Taymouth Castle Golf Club in addition to the many onsite guests, visitors and locals who play on a regular basis. It also hosts a Junior League budding professionals in the making coached by our very own professional Ryan Scott. Ryan not only offers coaching to our Juniors but for anyone who is interested in improving their technique.

Kenmore opened in 1992 on converted farmland in the heart of highland Perthshire by the banks of the Silvery Tay.  The design of the golf course was quite straightforward as the landscape was, almost unbelievably, perfect for a golf course. Last year we celebrated our 25th Anniversary and the sun shone beautifully for us.

The amenities at Kenmore are of a very high standard, so if you visit the course as part of a golfing break or longer golf holiday, you certainly won’t be disappointed. Superb hospitality awaits you at The Courtyard Bar & Restaurant and our stunning, award winning luxury holiday cottages, lodges and holiday homes here in Highland Perthshire provide the perfect accommodation for residential golf breaks and holidays.

As well as Mains of Taymouth Golf Club , Perthshire is home to Scotland’s best inland courses with the likes of Gleneagles and Rosemount within easy reach.

Kenmore is central to the whole of Scotland so if you do wish to sample Championship courses or visit the Open, then St. Andrews, Carnoustie, Troon and Loch Lomond are all within easy stricking distance.

Yesterday Stuart Macgregor, our head Green Keeper hit a hole in 1 on the 7th Green!!!! Come along and try your luck!!!
